About school
The school began operating in 1992 as a response to the growing needs of the Polish community in Edmonton. From the very beginning, we have strived to create a space where our students would not only develop their language skills, but also learn about and respect Polish history, traditions and values.
In 2003, our school gained the status of a Private School Accredited by the Ministry of Education in Alberta, which allowed our students to earn credits for courses such as: Polish 15, 25 and 35. Thanks to this, students of the Henryk Sienkiewicz School have the opportunity to continue learning Polish at the secondary level, and also apply for recognition of their skills on the job market in the future.
