The Henryk Sienkiewicz School in Edmonton was founded out of a passion for education and a desire to cultivate Polish tradition and culture in Canada. From the very beginning, our institution aimed to provide Polish children with high-quality education in Polish, while enabling them to integrate with the Canadian education system.
In 2010, in response to growing demand, we launched a new program – Introduction to Polish Language Learning. It is intended for children aged 8-12 who do not yet know Polish and cannot attend classes appropriate for their age. This program has become a huge support for children who are just starting their adventure with Polish language and culture.
Our school not only focuses on educating children and young people, but also offers language courses for adults. Every Saturday we organize classes that give adults the opportunity to learn and improve their language skills.
Over the years, the school has gained recognition in Edmonton's Polish community, and its graduates are an example of the success that can be achieved by combining modern education with tradition. Our school is not just a place of learning - it is a community in which every student, parent and teacher is part of a large Polish family.
